7: So we have been greatly comforted, dear brothers and sisters, in all of our own crushing troubles and suffering, because you have remained strong in your faith.
2 Corinthians 1:4

- The people of the city, as well as the city officials, were thrown into turmoil by these reports.
2 Corinthians 11:23
- They say they serve Christ? I know I sound like a madman, but I have served him far more! I have worked harder, been put in jail more often, been whipped times without number, and faced death again and again.

2 Corinthians 7:13
- We have been encouraged by this. In addition to our own encouragement, we were especially delighted to see how happy Titus was at the way you welcomed him and set his mind at ease.
